At eight weeks the little fella was about 16 mm long. He's the little kidney bean shaped thing within the black bit in the middle of the photo. We think his heads on the right and his legs on the left with the umbilical cord coming down from above. The nurse found his heartbeat at this stage which was quite moving for us. On this picture at 12 weeks you can see his head on the right, a pot belly in the middle, an arm underneath him and his legs on the left, including what look like massive feet. The 21 scan checked of all the limbs and vital organs successfully. It lasted about an hour as the baby wouldn't stop fidgeting and wriggling. Here he is stroking his chin. Dawn swears he's got her nose.
You may find this picture, also taken at 12 weeks, slightly disturbing, owing to the resemblance of the head shape and features to a certain father to be. Dawn models her maternity wear.
Dawn at 19 weeks, whilst on Ko Lanta. From this side profile you may be able to detect that she is pregnant. Dawn at 21 weeks, whilst in Sydney. Growing in front of our eyes. Dawn at 23 weeks, in at Uncle Gordon's in Brisbane. A trained eye may be able to predict a change in profile two days later (to be modelled shortly). Dawn holding bump at 23 weeks, possibly with a hunch that it was about to drop a bit.
Week 27, at the sculptures overlooking Broken Hill. It was windy. Week 27 and 4 days, at Bawley Point. Dawn at 29 weeks, on Christmas day. We suspect that the legs are to the right (your left) and the head to the left.
